Parklife Weekender 2014 announces AFTERLIFE - The official after parties
As if the line-up for this year's Parklife festival was not big enough, Parklife have announced details of the official after parties! The prestigious festival takes place in Heaton Park, Manchester on 7th and 8th June. Ensuing this, 30+ official after party events will take place in venues all over Manchester to keep the vibe going in true Parklife style.
If you are still reeling from missing out on buying tickets to Parklife festival which is now sold out (not surprisingly), fear not, AFTERLIFE will give all dedicated party goers the opportunity to get involved with the festivities. The powers that be at Parklife weekender have excelled themselves with this historic AFTERLIFE announcement; it is the biggest in the festivals history. Top names have been enlisted to host and curate the proceedings.
Hosts include the likes of Crosstown rebels - masters and leaders of underground dance music, FACT magazine and groundbreaking dance label Hot creations. There will be many more that will play host alongside top notch DJ's such as Tensnake, Dixon and acts like Route 94 and Breach.
The clever pun is a fitting one, attendees will feel as though they have proverbially died and gone to heaven when they attend the plethora of after parties on offer.
If you are a fan of electronic music and need to get your fix of top class music in some of Manchester's top venues, don't delay in getting your tickets. Albert Hall - will be the host to Hot Creations and Crosstown Rebels on Saturday evening. Note to self - it may be wise to book the Monday off work as annual leave!
Reggae / Dancehall DJ legend David Rodigan (MBE) and the original funky dred- Soul II Soul's Jazzie B (OBE) will also be wowing the crowds.
The AFTERLIFE line-up is the perfect accompaniment to the main Parklife festival and this promises to be an extraordinary weekend of live music and collaborations with some of the top clubbing brands. In order of priority, get booking then spend the next few weeks sleeping and conserving energy. You are going to need it.
