Pieces Of A Man (POAM) reach the grand finale of "Out on Stage 2014"



On Thursday 8th May, Manchester soul band Pieces of A Man aka POAM will join 6 other unsigned acts to battle it out for an opportunity to perform at Liverpool Pride and Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF). The proceedings will take place at Camp and Furnace Liverpool.

The soul collective from Manchester have their sights set on performing at the prestigious festivals which will be held in Liverpool in August 2014.

Each act will perform two tracks (one original and one cover) in the hope of winning over the judges. The band successfully made it through to the final leg of the competition after wowing the judges when they performed on 24th April at Hopskotch Street Kitchen & Bar Liverpool.

The band promise to serve up a full Phat offering of funked-up soul, so go along and show your support.

The Michael Causer Foundation (MCF) competition... is aimed at showcasing the talents of both Lesbian Gay, Bisexual and Transgender musicians and those who want to perform in support of Liverpool’s LGBT community.

The night will be hosted by Jay Hynd - "Media personality of the year 2013" and special guest will be joining the judging panel.

Finalists which will join POAM include Audio Zero, Watchtower UK, Shell Deliah, Samantha Cottrell, Edge of Eden and Doodah Farm.
