Review: SB entertainer - EP "Spiritual connection"

SB Entertainer is a UK hip-hop artist who hails from London. He has a new EP available for free download. Offering 5 tracks which have a recurring theme woven intricately through the lyrics overlaid with beats and keys, SB displays an enthusiasm for his craft tackling subjects such as drug abuse, leaving a life of crime, having a positive outlook on life and motivation.

What strikes you when you listen to each track is the high level of positivity and encouraging lyrics which is so often lacking from music of this genre. Kudos to SB for delivering conscious, uplifting lyrical content, it is a refreshing change. Personally, my preference is when SB raps as his voice lends itself more to that style. A female vocalist would complement the tracks beautifully whilst SB spits the bars.

SB is ambitious in his approach. The hooks are catchy and the melodies memorable. I particularly like the strings on "I wanna inspire you".
