Africa Oyé Festival announces it's full Lineup & Digital brochure for download

If you know anything about me, you will know how much I LOVE music and in particular music festivals. This year, Africa Oyé; a festival close to my heart has once again impressed it's punters by announcing yet another stunning Lineup for it's free two day festival. Yes, you heard me correctly, it is FREE and held in it's beloved home - Sefton Park.

Headlining this year's Lineup will be Finlay Quaye who has been quoted as saying:

"It's an honour to be headlining Africa Oyé in Liverpool; Songwriter City as I often refer to it. It's a privilege for us to be gracing the stage in Sefton Park; a park I often talk about and we are also blessed to be part of such a prestigious event and Line up."

Artistic Director, Paul Duhaney says:
“There are some stunning artists coming to perform in Liverpool from Africa and all over the diaspora in 2014. We've got more fantastic traders and stalls and of course the best festival audience in the UK.”

Africa Oyé really is going from strength to strength and recently celebrated success after winning the Inspiration award at the GIT (Get into this) awards in April of this year.

At last, this highly acclaimed festival is receiving the global recognition that it deserves with Songlines magazine naming it as one of their top 10 UK summer festivals for the 5th consecutive year. As summer heats up, so does the quality of festival offered by my beloved city of Liverpool. I personally am beyond excited for the delights that Africa Oyé will serve up on the 21st and 22nd June. Make sure you attend this family-friendly festival and spread the word. Let's keep this festival in the limelight where it rightfully belongs.
