Katy B and Sonia set to headline Liverpool Pride


Liverpool Pride has announced that Katy B will be one of the acts headlining this year's festival. The festival which takes place on August 2nd at the Waterfront stage promises to be the biggest yet. This is now a ticketed event.

Brit school graduate Katy B appeared on the scene in 2010 and recently performed at last weekend's Parklife festival in Heaton Park. She is making a return visit to Liverpool in August for Pride. She headlined at Ladies day of the Grand National back in February.

The 24 year old has top hits such as "Katy on a mission", "Crying for no reason" and "What is love made of". No doubt, Katy will be delighting the audience with tracks from her latest album "Little Red".

The Stanley Street stage of the festival will be headlined by Liverpool's own - Sonia. Having reached fame in the late 1980's with her track "You'll never stop me from loving you", Sonia will perform on home territory to excited festival goers.

Early bird tickets went on sale at the end of May fo £5. Advance tickets will be £8 and £11 thereafter on the day.
