Aladdin Press & Groups Panto Launch at Liverpool Empire

Liverpool Empire Theater opened the doors to its luxurious new Piano bar this Wednesday lunchtime for the press launch of the pantomime "Aladdin".

With its star- studded cast, the gathered throng were introduced to the stars of the show by it's host. The performances are set to run from 13th December 2014 - 4th Jan 2015.

Radio City's Pete Price  - The emperor hosted the presentation in regal fashion,  adorned in his red and gold emperors costume accompanied with customary curly shoes. Treating the audience to a rendition of Barry Manilow's "Can't smile without you" and encouraging them to sing along, Pete opened the show and introduced the rest of the all Scouse cast.

Roy Brandon who plays Dame Widow Twankey shared a few jokes before being followed onto stage by Radio City's breakfast show presenter Leanne Campbell who plays Princess Jasmine ; The emperors daughter. Pete talked about the long standing friendship between him and Leanne, explaining that she had performed alongside him in panto since a very young age. Friendship is the thread that connects all of the cast and Pete emphasized that this will positively impact the performance over the festive season.

Ray Quinn sings songs from his EP
Former X Factor finalist and Dancing on Ice winner Ray Quinn who plays Aladdin sang two songs from his forthcoming EP which will be released on September 15th. The audience were captivated by his delivery of "I don't do don't" and "Love you more". The tracks gave an insight into his upcoming performance at Liverpool's Cavern on 15th October to celebrate the EP launch.

Expectant mum Claire Sweeney who plays the Genie of the ring joined Pete on stage and talked of her excitement of being part of the cast once her baby arrives. The successful actress, singer and TV personality shared her joy at being part of the production.
