REVIEW: Far- Flung Funk - Bosanervous (demo)

Far Flung funk are a  funk/soul /hip-hop/jazz inspired original band that hail from Liverpool. Their original demo track is available for review on the band's Soundcloud .

Their track Bosanervous has a mellow start – it is deliciously sedate and the rhythm hits you from the start.The funk is there from the get go. Effortless vocals from Katy Bryson compliment the chilled out vibe. This is a smooth track exuding quiet confidence.

The percussion is on point with great drum patterns, use of hi- hat and a brass section beautifully intertwined. It’s a sound reminiscent of Sade and that can only be a good thing.

The melody is memorable and it gets under your skin upon first play. This is a chill-out track executed beautifully with a great balance of lyrics and instrumental interlude.

A wonderful display of Electronic Jazz – funk and soul music.
