Band On the Wall presents: Theo Parrish 15th July 2014

Imagine my delight this morning when I received a mail from Band On The Wall detailing upcoming gigs. BOTW can always be relied upon to showcase some serious musical talent. Next week on Tuesday 15th July, the Ritz Manchester will welcome onto it's stage for a rare live show the uber talented Detroit based musician Theo Parrish who just happens to be a producer and selector as well.

This gig is in association with Sound Crash and Red Bull Music Academy. With his forte being electronic and soul music, the evening promises to be a special one. 

This promises to be a treat for followers of Theo's sound as well as those new to his signature sound. Predominantly machine-based dance music, his set also incorporates live instruments, human voices and looped recordings. This is the first time that Parrish will be performing on the live circuit along with his full band in  ten years. The lineup for the night features Soul/funk singer songwriter Amp Fiddler (keys), Akwasi Mensah (bass), Duminie DePorres (electric guitar) and Myele Manzanza (drums) alongside Parrish on beats and keys.
