Traffic Jam Night at The Thirsty Scholar presents : We want Your soul

On Thursday 17th July, all lovers of Soul music are cordially invited to The Thirsty Scholar for a night of sweet soul music.

The regular Traffic Jam night hosted by Nathan Barratt is offering a satisfying helping of smooth, soulful vibes guaranteed to quench the thirst of any discerning reveller.

Split across two floors, the Line Up is full to the brim of talented acts from across the North West. DJ's will be spinning tracks from 9:30PM until 11:00PM and then live acts will follow.

Drawing inspiration from everything from the vaults through to the present day, POAM are funk-soul heavyweights, They present a strong, unique sound, showcasing original material that’s justifiably receiving acclaim wherever it’s heard.

Bipolar Bear - Producer / DJ from Romania
Forever Learning Tribe - revolutionary collective from Manchester who fuse live instruments with heavy lab made beats.
Bio Baraka - a sound that is tribal and hypnotic

The event is FREE and goes on until  3am
